The Hills Mallee Southern Regional Health Service is pleased to present the Regional Youth Plan which was officially launch October 2005.

The Hills Mallee Southern Regional Youth Plan was developed through consultation with young people through Regional Youth Forums and regional schools. Young people identified their key areas of concern as family relationships, drugs and alcohol, not enough to do, mental health, after school activities and accommodation. Service providers were also consulted around their service provision, networking and gaps in service delivery.

The Plan aims to enhance the health and well being of young people by ensuring their input into service delivery, improving their access to services, providing integrated service delivery, prioritising needs indicated by young people, and increasing the range of services available to young people.
