Winmil Yuntuwallin: Aboriginal & Non-Aboriginal Staff Working Together

Winmil Yuntuwallin:
  • aims to improve the access for indigenous people to culturally appropriate services at Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and Murray Mallee Community Health Service
  • acknowledges that the Health Service is on Ngarrindjeri land
  • works towards eliminating systemic/institutional racism
  • supports the Health Service "Statement of Recognition of Aboriginal Culture in this Region"
  • encourages staff to participate in cultural awareness and challenging racism training
  • meets at 10am on the first Wednesday of each month
  • is currently co-chaired by Sharon Perkins 8535 6800 or email perkins.sharon@saugov.sa.gov.au and Carla Vicary 8535 6800 or email vicary.carla@saugov.sa.gov.au


All Health Service staff members are welcome to join Winmil Yuntuwallin in paid time
