Top level Regional Initiatives Active Communities

The Murraylands Active Communities Network (MACN) is a group of organisations that have a stake in the promotion and delivery of physical activity opportunities. Collectively the MACN can work towards increasing participation in active recreation and sport in turn contributing to the health, social and economic wellbeing of the region.

The benefits of being involved in this network are numerous some of which include:

·Access to a number of support services (latest grants information, upcoming training etc)

·A chance to voice your opinion on issues facing the region’s active recreation and sport industry

·Networking opportunities with individuals of similar interests and challenges

It is highly recommended that all active recreation and sport service providers ensure that they forward the contact details of at least one member of their organisation to take advantage of this valuable network.
