The Regional Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of regional training and development initiatives for staff of Country Health SA (formerly Hills Mallee Southern). This includes the coordination of the Regional Graduate Nurse and Graduate Midwife Transition Programmes.

The Staff Development Coordinator provides a consultancy service to professional development programmes in all units within the region, and liaises directly with site managers to determine educational requirements.

Additional functions include participation in workforce planning initiatives to support Country Health Reform, collaborating with the education sector and external agencies, and promoting Country Health SA at educational and employment forums.
