Exciting Opportunities are proposed for Registered Midwives wishing to gain casual employment at rural health units including Kangaroo Island Health Service, Mount Barker DSM Hospital, Murray Bridge SM Hospital and South Coast District Hospital.

We are proposing to offer times which suit your other commitments (ie. four hour shifts, working in school hours).


Fancy a change of scenery?

Midwives may elect to work at their choice of one or all of the above mentioned health units. Accommodation, meals, fuel and boat fare can be arranged. Go for a week and enjoy the scenery...



Wanting to update your skills?
Increase your knowledge by gaining work in maternity units (collectively 800+ births per year) and gain access to opportunities for professional development.

Essential Minimum Requirements: Registered Midwife (or eligible to be) with the Nurses Board of South Australia, with at least two years practicing experience. SA Driver's Licence and police clearance required.
