In order for Health Units to be meeting the Adequate Records Management Standard, it is essential that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and obligations. Staff involved more heavily with the day-to-day management and maintenance of records management practices within health units, therefore require more specific, specialised training in such areas as retention and disposal, records classifications and archiving records....

State Records offers a number of training courses on a regular basis where staff can become 'accredited' in such specialised areas. Click on the link below to view the current State Records training schedule for 2006...

If you wish to attend any of these training courses, contact Margaret Howard at State Records to check availability, and then complete a State Records Training Registration Form and fax or send back to State Records at the address/number on the form.

At a Regional level, the General Disposal Schedule 15 training course is being run locally in Murray Bridge. The dates for these courses are as follows:
