Now, more than ever, country health services need to look towards the future. It will take goals, directions and a commitment to change. The Country Health Conference "Taking up the Challenge" will focus on this challenge. Following the conference the Country Health Awards for 2004 will be presented.

The Awards will recognise and reward those health services/programs and individuals in the following categories:

Most Culturally Appropriate Service/Program
Most Innovative/Creative Service/program in Acute Care
Most Innovative/Creative Service/program in Primary Health Care
Most Innovative/Creative Service/program in Aged Care
